Bang!
“Oh my god, I’m so sorry!” my partner exclaims as hydrochloric acid spreads across the lab bench in front of us both.

Good! Because I’m thrilled to share that I’ve had my first piece published in a dedicated science magazine. Physics world is published around the, erm, world (funny that…) and is a highly respected science magazine with a huge global readership.
It is published both online, and in traditional magazine format, and my article, A flaming good feeling: why science is nothing without experiments, is available online now at:

physicsworld.com/a/a-flaming-good-feeling-why-science-is-nothing-without-experiments/
It focus’s on my return to a science laboratory over 30 years after I left school, and my time at this year’s Open University Laboratory Summer School.
Go and check it out and please leave a comment. I’d love to know what you think!
