I’ve decided you’ve all had enough of reading about the latest bit coin scam, or John Lewis deals or whatever ads your browser / AI decides you really want to read about instead of my musings. And so to help make things clearer, I’ve upgraded the site to remove all ads from my pages and posts. I hope this helps to make things easier to read (and less annoying).
I’ve also changed the web address to a shorter, easier version:

The old address will still work as well but will simply redirect so no links *should* break… Let me know if I’m wrong on that though.
There’s been no blog posts for me for around a month and that’s down to a couple of things:
I had written two really good pieces during this time, but one got picked up by Birmingham World who ran my story of Trevor Beattie’s trip to space and the other is being considered by another science publication. More on that in the near future.

In addition to this I’ve also had an extremely high workload both at work, and, as I kick off with the next year of my degree studies, I’ve discovered that there’s a fair bit of maths in a physics degree, who knew?
I did however have a really good trip to New Scientist Live earlier this month where there was so much to see, hear and do that I actually think I needed 3 days there not 2. I also got to meet up and chat with some people I’d only met online previously, which was really nice. I will be returning next year for certain and may write a short piece on what its actually about and some of the exciting things you can see and learn about there – once I’ve got some assignments out of the way that is!
Expect to see news of a wide variety of new articles in the coming months as I’ve been writing content which will soon be published in three different magazines covering flying, mathematics and physics.
October has been surprisingly good for flying, with several lovely flyable day’s around the various storms and downpours that we’ve had. At Attitude Airsports we are preparing for the shorter days and also the more infrequent flying weather by organising our annual ground school seminars where we will be covering everything you need to know to pass the theoretical syllabus of the UKs NPPL. These are open to anyone and for more information you can contact info@attitudeairsports.co.uk

That’s it for today, I hope you enjoy the new ad free site, and feel free to send me any feedback about these changes or indeed anything else you’d like to share with me.
Back to the maths…
